Getting started with CareMonitor data platform

Accessing the Platform


The CareMonitor data platform is accessible via the following link: https://qs.caremonitor.com.au.


Please create a support ticket with relevant approvals to receive access to the data platform.


Step 1: Initial Login and Password Setup

  1. Once you have received an invitation to join the platform, click on the provided link or head over to the CareMonitor data platform.
  2. On the login page, enter the email address.
  3. If you're logging in for the first time or have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password" option. This will guide you through the process to reset and create a new password.
  4. Please note this password is different to your CareMonitor clinician portal.


    Setting Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Upon your first login, you'll be prompted to set up MFA to enhance the security of your account. Here's how to do it:

  1. A QR code will be displayed on the screen.
  2. Use an MFA application, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, to scan this QR code. These apps are available on the respective app stores for your device.
  3. Once scanned, the app will provide you with a unique code. Enter this code on the CareMonitor platform to complete the MFA setup.


    Recovery Code

During the MFA setup, you'll also receive a one-time use recovery code. This code is essential in cases where:


  • Your MFA-enabled device is unavailable.
  • You have trouble accessing your account.


    Please ensure you:


  • Save the recovery code securely. It's crucial as it can only be used once.
  • Be aware that the code is regenerated when you use it, so always keep the latest code handy.


Step 2: Setting up permissions to access relevant dashboards.


After successfully completing step 1, please continue to login via https://qs.caremonitor.com.au


Please notify the CareMonitor support team or your organisation's business contact that you have completed step 1.


CareMonitor data team will setup the permissions for your account and confirm the account setup ticket is closed.


Please note, we are unable to allocate relevant permissions before step 1 is completed.


Troubleshooting 2FA Setup


If you encounter any issues setting up the 2FA, it might be due to incorrect date and time settings on your phone. Here's how to check and correct them:


Android Devices

  1. Navigate to your device's "Settings."
  2. Scroll down and select "Date & Time."
  3. Ensure the box next to "Automatic" is checked. If not, tap on the box to enable it.
    • If you wish to disable automatic date and time, follow the same steps and uncheck the box.

iOS Devices

  1. Go to "Settings" on your device.
  2. Select "General" and then tap on "Date & Time."
  3. Turn on "Set Automatically."
    • If it was already turned on but you're facing issues, you can toggle it off for a moment and then re-enable it.
